Yes i am using a laptop connected only to the router. Wireless is turned off. I figured it out though, the 106 was a clue. I did ipconfig /flushdns and ipconfig /renew. Then I could connect to the router with its new IP address. Apparently when I first booted the laptop it WAS connected wirelessly to my network and that information was cached.
